7th – 13th May: Weekly Toy News Round Up

Skim read my weekly toy news highlights and you can convince you kids that you know what’s going on in their world.

Morph Suits now available for kids

You’ve probably seen these tight, all-in-one, full body suits on adults before, perhaps on some wierd TV talent contest inviting members of the nation to demonstrate they have entertainment skills, and now Morphsuits have released a kids version.

I first saw these at London Toy Fair in January, and to be honest they just really freaked me out. But now I have seen the kids range, and the Ninja suit (pictured) in particular, I can see the appeal to kids. I know my 7 year old would love to dress up in the Ninja or Racing Driver suits. I was also relieved to hear that the head piece attaches separately so in the event of tears, upset, or if you just need to make eye contact (to tell them to calm down and stop ricocheting off the sofa), you can easily take the head covering off, then replace it when the drama has passed, without needing to remove the whole suit.

These are £30 and are available now from
