Backyard Inflatables to make you go ‘Wow’

Backyard Inflatables to make you go ‘Wow’

Have you noticed how when a toy is in your child’s environment all the time, no matter how cool it is, it is easily forgotten?

What I love about backyard inflatables is they are a new toy every time you get them out, giving you a full day’s entertainment without needing to leave your house.

Here’s my pick of the coolest backyard inflatables available in 2012:

Shooting Star Arc Arena, Kidwise, $580

20 feet long, and 10 feet wide, with plenty of room for 4 kids.

Bounce and play sports at the same time.

Soccer goals and basketball hoops at each end to aim at.

Obstacle Racer, KidWise, $500

For some children, and me, mindless bouncing up and down just isn’t entertaining enough.

For the competitve, task-focussed kid, this inflatable obstacle course will provide a sporting backyard challenge.

19 feet long, and 9 feet wide.

Suitable for two kids to race each other, or if you want to keep the peace, suggest time trials to beat your own personal best.

Jumpolene, Intex, $100

We don’t all have the odd $700 knocking about to splash out on a blow up toy.

For those with a more modest budget, or smaller kids, take a look at the simple, but brilliant Jumpolene.

All the bouncy fun of a trampoline, without the need to look at it every time you glance into your backyard.

6 feet across.

Little Tikes 2 in 1 Bouncer, $600

Climb up the rock wall, then zoom down the slide.

Use wet or dry (wet’s more fun though).

Shoot some hoops in the little bounce house in the middle.

Rainforest Rapids, Blast Zone $700

If money and space is no issue, this is the ulitmate backyard bouncer.

A slide either side of a bounce house.

Space for up to 5 kids to be entertained at once.
