Fireman Sam Toy Range Guide

Fireman Sam Toy Range Guide

Hello and welcome to my page of wisdom on Fireman Sam toys, based on my experiences with two sons.

If you are looking for a present for a little Fireman Sam fan, let me be your guide. Read on to find the best places to buy online, and the toys you should be looking out for.

If you are in a hurry, skip straight to the links in the yellow box below.

Find Fireman Sam toys at the best prices using Toy Tracker

The all-in-one playsets seem like a great gift idea. Typically they come with a building, a vehicle and at least one figure – everything you need to get a Fireman Sam collection started.

The latest playset is the Pontypandy Multi-Rescue (pictured). This was launched to much applause and was selected by the Toy Retailers Association as one of their ‘Dream Toys’ for Christmas 2011. It originally sold for £30, but if you shop around you can probably get it for around £20-£25.

Vehicles with Action Figures

These are my personal favourites.

For around £10 each, you can buy the main vehicles from the show, with an action figure included.

The ambulance, boat, fire truck, and beach 4×4 are all currently available, as is the bright orange helicopter. These vehicles are a great way to play, as unlike the playsets, they require a stretch of the imagination, as your child decides what the emergency is, who’s in trouble, and how they will be rescued.

Plush Soft Characters

While researching this article, I found this range of plush Fireman Sam figures from Character. I have never seen them for sale anywhere else, but they look great.

eBay, eBay, eBay

There are a couple of reasons why you should check out eBay as part of your online shopping spree for Fireman Sam presents.

Firstly, there are plenty of new toys and dress-up sets that are last seasons, and so no longer available through the major retailers.

Secondly, if like me, you are not averse to buying pre-loved toys, you can find auctions with a box full of vehicles and figures, at a fraction of the price you would pay in the shops. Kids change their loyalty to TV characters almost as often as they change their socks. Look carefully and you may find an auction for toys that have been barely used, as their previous owner switch to Thomas or Bob the Builder.
