Grandpa in my Pocket Toys

Grandpa in my Pocket Toys

With over 66 episodes made, being aired in 100+ countries, the Bafta-nominated Grandpa in my Pocket CBeebies show is missing just one vital feature – its own toy range.

Enter Hornby, who today announced a worldwide licensing deal with Adastra Creative Limited, the entertainment company behind the hit kids programme.

Mellie Buse of Adastra Creative Limited said of the deal:

“Fans have been asking for these toys for a long while so we’re extremely excited about Hornby’s plans. It’s great timing because it ties in with the tour of the first Grandpa Stage Show, currently at The Nottingham Playhouse and due to travel the country next year.”

The new range will be produced under the Corgi Toys sub brand, and will include plastic vehicles, figurines and playsets, as well as Diecast vehicles.

But eager parents will have a long wait, as the toys will not be hitting retailers’ shelves until Autumn 2013.
