Morphsuits – Super Stretchy Skin Tight Costumes
Please note, notice, and pay attention – yes I was sent the Morphsuit for free to review, but, also yes, all opinions remain my own.
This is a picture of my friend’s 9 year old boy in a Morphsuit.
Looks pretty cool right?
So here’s what you need to know.
First up, the Morphsuit we tested was an adult medium size, which is intended for people up to 5ft 4inches.
My little tester is around 4ft 10inches, and this suit fitted him snug enough.
For some reason when he first put it on, we couldn’t get the face to line up properly, and then couldn’t get the zip around the back of his head to do up. Be patient and just keep wriggling because after less than a minute everything was fitting correctly.
The suit was worn to a Halloween disco party. It kept its shape well (no Nora Batty wrinkly tights-effect), but the white flock on the face did crack and peel in some places – I guess because around the face is where the suit is under the most pressure.
If you are thinking of buying a suit for your kids, you’ll be pleased to know that the child-friendly versions have a quick release hood attached with velcro to go over the face, rather than the head-covering being built into the suit.
The suits are cheapest to buy direct from morphkids.co.uk or morphsuits.co.uk, where there is a size guide to help you work out which size to buy.
