Easy Bake Ultimate Oven Toy – Really Bakes

Easy Bake Ultimate Oven Toy – Really Bakes

Summary: Take a look at the all new Easy Bake Oven – Ultimate model, that uses a heating element to really bake.

The Easy Bake Oven toy enjoyed some success over last Christmas, and now Target has added it to it’s Top Toys for Christmas 2012 list.

Earlier models worked by using an incandescent light bulb to heat up the cake mix, but those bulbs are no longer available.

Hasboro, unwilling to see a popular classic toy become redundant, have redesigned the toy oven that really bakes to incorporate a heating element.

Suitable for kids aged 8 years and up, the new Easy Bake can be used to bake sweet or savoury treats.

The oven comes with a baking pan, cupcake pan, pan pusher, chocolate chip cookie mix, red velvet cake mix, pink frosting mix, rainbow sugar crystals package, paper cupcake wraps and instructions/recipe booklet.

It is priced at $50 with extra tools and replacement packet mixes are also available to buy separately.

The oven is a great way to encourage children to learn about how food is made, and gain confidence in preparing their own snacks in a safe and controlled way. Your kitchen can seem a daunting place to your children as they must follow a myriad of instructions to prepare any food, whilst being mindful of all the risks. With this toy oven that really bakes, they are put in control of the baking, helping them to gain confidence with food preparation.
