New 2013 Twister Rave Game with Rings, Sticks and Skip It
Just a few months after the Twister Dance launch, and the classic colored dots game has receieved another make-over.
But these new 2013 Twister toys are less about multi-player fun, and more about demonstrating your skills with rings, sticks and a skip-hoop.
Twister Skip It, $23
Remember the original Skip It? The fun, energetic game where the threat of a lump of hard plastic cracking you across the ankle was your only incentive to jump higher and faster. Hasbro have teamed the concept with their Twister brand to create the Twister Rave Skip It. The aim of the game is to jump for as long as possible. The longer you jump for, the more colored light combinations you unlock.
Here’s a demo from TimeToPlay:
Twister Rave Hoopz, $15
2 hoops are included in the pack. They light up when you spin them, and the longer you spin, the more color combinations light up.
Twister Rave Stickz, $30
Light up nunchucks for performing tricks. See them in action in this TimeToPlay hands on review:
Twister Rave Ringz, $10
Each set contains two light up rings, and instructions for 20 hand-clapping games. Although the most basic set in the range, I think this will be the most popular. Kids aged around 6-8 years already enjoy playing clapping games, and adding a light-up ring will certainly make it more fun. And at $10, you can’t really argue with the price. Available in purple, blue, yellow or black.
