Spin Mania Spinning Discs Board Game
I don’t normally blog on a Saturday night, but all three boys (Son#1, Son#2 and Husband#1) are giggling away in the next room while they play with the Spin Mania game, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to write up the review.
It was really easy to set up – just add 2 x C batteries (the really big ones).
When turned on the spike (blunt) begins to spin. Place a disc on the top and when you are ready to remove it, start the timer button.
The aim of the game is to get all three discs spinning on a purple stand before the timer runs out.
The stands are portable so you can make the game easy by putting them close together, or make it more difficult by spreading them around the room.
You can be comptitive or set up a team challenge, as it is really helpful to have one person to start the discs spinning while the other is placing a disc on a stand.
Once we have all mastered this game I intend to make an army style obstacle course between the kids and the stands – that should keep them busy for a while.
Both the 5 year old and 7 year old loved this game, and got the giggles so bad they had to stop playing for a while.
I love how easy it was to set up, and how there’s plenty of flexibility to make it as easy or difficult as you want.
The game is priced at £23, and you get three flying / spinning discs, one spinning unit with timer, three stands and the hook thingy for moving the discs about (probably not the technical term).
Check Amazon for their latest price – they usually have it discounted and they offer free delivery.
