Creep Crawly Spy Toy for Kids

Creep Crawly Spy Toy for Kids

This is the Spy Net Audio Bug.

Is he not both the creepiest, and coolest spy toy you’ve ever seen?

The bug has a suction cup on its underside, so you can choose to hide it on a wall or window, or leave it in plain sight. When turned on it will wait until it detects sounds, then automaticly start recording – so you don’t even need to be in the same room.

The Audio Bug costs $23, and is suitable for kids aged 8 years and up.

For the best spy toys, check out both the Spy Gear from Wild Planet, and Spy Net from Jakks Pacific, brands.

There are dozens of bits of child-friendly equipment.

Personally I prefer to shop for spy toys online, as then I can read the reviews left by other parents.

Because many of the toys are technically challenging, they tend to either be a great success or an epic failure – and I don’t want to be spending $30 on an epic failure, so it is worth my time spent reading up the customer feedback.

If your child likes quirky technology, you should also check out Hot Wheels Video Racers. They are die-cast metal cars with a tiny video recorder inside so you can record a pilot’s view of your Hot Wheels stunts and journeys. They were one of the hottest toys for boys last Christmas, and received excellent customer feedback, and since they are now last year’s toy, they have had prices slashed.

And if he likes bugs, then you should also take a look at the new Hexbug Warriors toy line – robotic insects that battle to the death – tipped to be a top toy this Christmas.
